Yeser and Homa are probably two of my favorite people! Their wedding was in Washington DC and we got to photograph them all over the monuments. It was a blast for sure. This was one of the first weddings we got to photograph where the bride and groom helped each other get ready. If you are a bride and considering this, I am telling you, this is a much more intimate and memorable way to get ready. It was just the immediate family in the ready room and it made for a much more relaxed and memorable experience for the family.
After Yaser and Homa finished getting ready, we were off to take creative pictures. And let me tell you, IT WAS HOT! Keeping everyone cool was key. Most of the day, I was running around with a towel over my head to keep from burning my melon. A sight to see for sure. We ended the creative pictures in the hotel lobby where we had some gorgeous vignettes and air conditioning. I wasn’t kidding you about it being a hot and humid DC day. The night ended in probably one of the most gorgeous ballrooms I have ever seen and man can this family dance. I am not sure how they still had the energy after this 12+ hour day, but they still looked good doing it.
